Welcome to our "worth a look (or listen)" page
It's here that we can put links to films, TV, podcasts or online programmes that could introduce, stimulate questions or help to grow Christian faith.
The King of Kings

A father (who happens to be Charles Dickens voiced by
Kenneth Brannagh) tells his son the greatest story ever told,
and what begins as a bedtime tale becomes a life-changing
journey. Through vivid imagination, the boy walks alongside
Jesus, witnessing His miracles, facing His trials, and understanding His ultimate sacrifice. The King of Kings invites us to rediscover the enduring power of hope, love, and redemption through the eyes of a child. King of Kings website: angel.com/movies/king-of-kings

The Greatest Story Ever Told: An Eyewitness Account
Bear Grylls's book is an account of the life of Jesus told through the words
of the eye-witnesses recorded in the gospels.
It became a Sunday Times No 1 best seller when it was published in June.
It's available from all good book sellers and, of course, from Amazon.
Here's one of his promotional visits to Virgin Radio to
be interviewed by Chris Evans who expressed his own
amazement at the book, the story it tells and who little he
had grasped from the New Testament he carries with him.
The Quiet Revival | The Bible Society
This research published in April 2025 by the Bible Society
from a YouGov survey suggests a significant increase in
church attendance between 2018 and 2024 particularly
amongst "Gen Z" - ages c13-35. From that initial starting
point, other accounts of church growth, professions of faith
and searching (e.g. ALPHA courses) suggest a movement towards the Christian faith and to Christ.
The initial report can be read here and other follow-up items such as this focus on Scotland can be found on Premier News website and elsewhere.
Life and Work | Church of Scotland
The final issue of Life and Work, the magazine of the Church of Scotland,
came out this month. It can be viewed here or by clicking on the image.
